Wine Tours of the Bordeaux region   

Enjoy the wines (Medoc, Fronsac, St. Emilion, Graves, etc...), cuisine and sights of the region around Bordeaux . We'll be happy to design a tour to fit the interests of your group. Visit wineries, spend time exploring the medieval town of Saint Emilion, tour the beautifully restored Chateaux of Monbazillac & La Brede, as well as the villages and countryside of the Bordeaux wine region. Visits to Bordeaux museums, Roman ruins, and village markets may also be included.   

 

 

 

Dordogne Valley Tours    

Are you interested in prehistoric caves, medieval castles & villages, gardens, WWII sights, great goose & duck based cuisine? This region just east of Bordeaux offers all this plus the wines of Bergerac & Cahors, 

a boat ride on the Dordogne River, the Saturday market in Sarlat, & more.  Five to eight day tours can be designed for your group of 4-6 adults.

Any of our tours can also be designed for groups who would like to improve their French language skills. The owners of some of our favorite B&B's speak little or no English. During the leisurely dinners we enjoy at their tables, they are happy to assist us, and some interesting conversations occur. There's always lots of laughter! We are also able to include other activities that will also enable guests to practice speaking,

reading and comprehension skills daily.
